We invite you to our webinar dedicated to adapting the Montessori method for the elderly and patients with dementia.
The training is designed for caregivers of people with dementia, Alzheimer’s, and anyone who wants to care for the health and development of their loved ones. During this webinar, we will focus on specific exercises and techniques that can be implemented when working with individuals suffering from memory loss—both at home and in specialized care centers.
What is the Montessori method for the elderly?
It focuses on individual development and meeting the needs of the person where they are.
It is primarily used to support independence and self-esteem. Everything begins with a prepared environment aimed at facilitating independence and exploration.
The Montessori approach for the elderly and people with dementia has been studied for over 20 years by Dr. Cameron Camp.
Montessori-inspired activities in eldercare facilities focus on promoting independence, engagement, and a sense of purpose, allowing seniors to remain active and stimulated.
The webinar will be conducted by Katarzyna Dorosz, a member of the American Montessori Society.
